Kilimanjaro International (JRO)
The main international airport for northern Tanzania, on the road between Arusha and Moshi: roughly 45 km from Arusha and 35 km from Moshi, about an hour to either. Most long-haul arrivals land here, including the KLM and Ethiopian Airlines services.
Arusha Airport (ARK)
The small domestic airfield on the western edge of Arusha town, used for flights to the Serengeti, Zanzibar and other domestic routes. Around fifteen minutes from the centre.
How it works
Tell us your flight number. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall, and if the flight is late the pick-up moves with it. On departure we collect you from the hotel with time in hand for check-in.
Vehicles and price
The same private vehicles that run our safaris, sized to your group and luggage. No shared shuttles unless you ask for one. Quoted per vehicle, not per person: send us the flight details and we reply with a number.

Before you land
What if my flight is delayed?
Send us the flight number when you book and the pick-up moves with the flight.
Do you cover night arrivals?
Yes. Many long-haul flights land at Kilimanjaro late in the evening, and the transfer runs whenever the flight does.
Can the transfer go straight to the parks?
With an early enough arrival, yes. Tell us and we build the day around the flight.
Do you transfer between Arusha and Moshi?
Yes, and to trailheads and lodges. Ask us with the dates.
