Why this one
The migration is not a place, it is a moving population of roughly 1.3 million wildebeest. An itinerary that names one camp all year is not following it. This one moves north or south depending on when you come.

Serengeti, following the herds
Full day. Where we drive depends on the month — the short-grass plains in the south from December to March, the Grumeti and Mara rivers from June to October.
Serengeti, second full day
A second day gives you the chance to return to something you found yesterday. Most of the best sightings on this trip happen today.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
A morning drive, then the climb to the crater rim.
Crater floor to Arusha
Dawn descent, then home.

Asked before every departure
When are the river crossings?
Usually July to September on the Mara in the north, but the herds do not keep a calendar. A crossing is never guaranteed and any operator who guarantees one is selling you something.
Where is the calving season?
Ndutu and the southern short-grass plains, roughly late January to March. For that, look at the nine-day calving departure instead.
