Why this one

This is the only time of year we tell people to come for the predators rather than the landscape. The calving concentrates prey, and concentrated prey concentrates everything that eats it. It runs late January to March and not one day longer.

Can this run outside those months?

No. Outside late January to March there is no calving and the herds have moved on. We will route you onto the migration or classic circuit instead rather than sell you this one.

Is it wet?

Often, in short heavy afternoon storms. The plains stay driveable and the light after a storm is the best of the year.
